Covering approximately the Eastern two thirds of the island of Hispaniola, the Dominican Republic is the second largest country in the Caribbean. From the coastal beaches that surround the country to the mountain ranges which are home to the highest peak in the Caribbean at 10,500 feet, there is every variety of land in the Dominican Republic .
Agricultural Land in the Dominican Republic
In the past, sugarcane plantations were most abundant. Many of those properties still are available to re-establish, or to convert into highly desirable biofuel crop production. Vast parcels of thousands of acres of land in the Dominican Republic are available for such projects.
Residential Land in the Dominican Republic
From beachfront to the mountains parcels of Dominican real estate are available for construction of single family homes, condominium projects or residential developments. Sizes range from partial acres to as many acres as one desires.
